What a Mysterious God We Have

Hi, I am 14 years old and was born to parents meeting in the local churches. I received the Lord and was baptized at the age of 12 years.

I would love to give a testimony to you about the church. For 14 years I have been in the local church but still I am finding out more and more of the church (made up of all believers) every day. For example, this church is not an organization but an organism; the church is the Body of Christ (Ephesians 1:22-23). Many people think the church is a building located on a certain street and in a certain area where people meet, but in God’s eyes, all the believers are the church, the Body of Christ, Christ is the Head and His believers are the Body (Romans 12:4-5; Ephesians 4:15-16). Hallelujah. We all have heard the phrase “God works in mysterious ways” and it is true He does work in mysterious ways. God is a mysterious person. The mystery of God is Christ and the mystery of Christ is the church (Colossians 2:2; Eph. 3:4). Hallelujah, what a marvelous mystery.

When I first received the Lord, many things began to happen. I noticed that I was a changed person and I felt that something new was in me. For the first time I felt alive. Christ breathed His life into me. He truly satisfied me.

When I come to the Lord, I want to come to Him with a burning spirit and with a burden to gain Him (Romans 12:11b). When I thirst and hunger for the Lord, He is there to quench my thirst, fill all my hunger, and truly satisfy me (John 6:35)! I enjoy the Lord and He flows out of me as a living stream of water (John 4:24). Amen.

D.O.
